Walter Rogen alias Walter von Roggenbucke

Walter Rogen alias Walter von Roggenbucke in 1929

Main source is an Ellis Island Records from 1907.

Bruno Henry and Edward Hermann appears in World War I Draft Registration 1917-18.

In the immigration papers the destination adress was: Hermann Uthoff, Cleveland, Florida Ave. 76. Herman is obviously the brother of Ida. He was born (according to some census records) in 1876 and came in 1896 to the States

Edward came to the States with the ship S.S. Amerika in Jan 1907. Ida and the children came with the ship Kaiserin Auguste Victoria from Hamburg in July 1907.

25.09.06 - Ida Roggenbucke died 20.02.1918 and is buried in Cleveland at the Lutheran Cemetery.

27.09.06 - The children changed their last name to Roggen. I found the obituary of Edward H. Roggenbuck at Cleveland Necrology File. In the Cuyahoga Census Files 1930 this family is called Rogen.

27.09.06 - Vera died 1982.

22.10.06 - The marriage record of Edward A. shows as parents: Edward Roggenbucke and Friedericke Szobris. Thank you Cathy!!
